Growth Sometimes Means Learning What We Were Never Taught.
Many of us grew up in families where respect, hard work, and sacrifice were deeply valued. These are beautiful strengths that shaped who we are today.
But sometimes, we weren’t taught how to express our feelings, set boundaries, or speak up for ourselves.
So as adults, growth can look like:
• Learning to say "I need help."
• Practicing assertiveness.
• Reflecting instead of staying silent.
• Allowing ourselves to take up space.
This isn’t about blaming our families or our culture. It’s about recognizing that growth is lifelong.
And sometimes, growth means learning what we were never taught.
